Dancing Through Life

I don't want to blow up y'alls Twitter feeds, so I'm going to post my many thoughts of this week's SYTYCD here instead...'cause I have a lot. :)

Let's start with my new love: KENT BOYD. How can you not love this little chunk?! Omg I want to be his best friend. Can't figure out if he's gay or not though...could just be...sheltered. You know, living that farm life. Hahaha but I love him nonetheless. He is ADORABLE and I can't STAND IT. Love love love. Oh, and how beautiful was his partner Anya?! She is much better as a blonde, me thinks.

Billy Boyd...bothers me. He looks like Leo DiCaprio when he played the retarted brother in What's Eating Gilbert Grape? That's mean, I know, but it's my blog so I can say things like that. :) He is undeniably an INSANE dancer, but y'all know me, I always root for the underdog. He just seems cocky. I think I nice visit to the bottom 3 will wake him up -- let's hope he gets a NappyTabs hip hop and bombs lol. Btw, NappyTabs have been lacking in their choreo lately. C'mon peeps! I don't think Shane can choreo any more cause of those molestation charges. You're all we've got in the crunk department!

I can't say enough how much I LOVE having past contestants as partners. Brilliant idea there, Nahhhhgel. It's like a freaking family reunion and it makes my heart so happy. Except I definitely missed Dominic this week. Hopefully someone pulls his name for next week! :)

All in all, the new dancers definitely need to work on their performance. Technique is of course there, but that doesn't get you votes. Like the judges have said before, people like Benji and Josh didn't win because of their technique. They won because they were likeable and gave insane emotion during their pieces. So come on my shy little dancers, show me your teeth! Don't be scurred.

Okay...Melinda. Her arms/hands are SO WEIRD. Just let it go, man! She holds them so strangely! But Hannah, she is Amber Jones' twin. Creeps me out.

Really sad about Alexie leaving, just because she tried out so many times and finally made it this time. That's got to be bittersweet to leave first after trying out so many times. :(

Blahhhh alright until next time! Overall this week left me feeling a little meh. Hoping for some better choreo and emotion next week! :)
